The mission of The Union is to bring innovation, expertise, solutions and support to address health challenges in low and middle-income populations. The Union-Uganda office through the SPARK TB plus project which was funded by a Wave 4 TB REACH Grant, implemented various activities aimed at increasing access to quality TB diagnosis and care for the urban poor residing in slum areas of the five districts in Central and Eastern Uganda namely Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono, Buikwe and Jinja. In 2015, SEDC was commissioned to undertake an Endline evaluation of the Spark TB Plus Project
