Consultants

Besides the office team, SEDC has a pool of local and international experts enlisted on a retainer basis depending on the requirements of the project. The consultants in this category come from a range of professional and practice backgrounds including: social science, law, health care (including public health), communication, agriculture, business, finance and engineering among others. This gives us an edge not only to handle any assignment, but also to utilize a mix of theoretical perspectives and practice models to answer intricate questions.

Research Assistants

SEDC has a large database of Research Assistants (Research Labour) it employs on a contract basis as interviewers, supervisors and quality controllers to collect field data, supervise fieldwork and conduct post fieldwork data management including entry and cleaning of quantitative data as well as transcription of qualitative interviews and focus group discussions. All the research assistants are University Graduates with vast experience in conducting studies utilizing qualitative, quantitative and mixed methodologies.
